Directed by Chris Chase. Starring Isabel DeGrandi as "Young Joan" and Donna Turner as "Mature Joan."

My hotel, the Chancellor, was just around the corner, on Powell. I had only about a 1-minute walk to get there.

The play's director, Chris Chase, was standing at the curb, handing out programs and guiding people inside.

After I got finished with my pre-show cigarette, also at the curb, I went up to him and only then learned he was the director!

I shook his hand and we chatted briefly (me primarily bitching about my long hike up to the "Sudden Fear" location at Greenwich @ Hyde earlier in the day!).

 The theater has 99 seats, and I'd say the place was about half-full at showtime (7:30pm on Saturday, May 10).
